Posted on August 23, 2024August 23, 2024 by Chillie Falls

All eyes are turned to Paris in 2024, as they deliver Games that they say are “more responsible, more inclusive, more equal and more spectacular than ever before”.

Written by Travel Without Limits Editorial Team, July 30, 2024

The Paris 2024 Games are set to be the biggest sporting event ever organized in France. The Paralympic Games will run from August 28 to September 8, bringing together 4400 athletes from around the world to compete in 22 different sports.

For the very first time, the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBS) will be providing live coverage of all sports at the Paralympics, finally recognizing the elite status of these athletes and the general interest in seeing them perform on the world stage. Paralympics Australia has confirmed that Nine has secured media rights to broadcast Paris 2024 coverage, across free-to-air, streaming, radio, print and online.

Australian Paralympians will be competing in Archery, Athletics, Cycling, Paracanoeing, Rowing, Swimming, and Table Tennis.
