    • We start our tour at the famous Rosslyn Chapel. Rosslyn Chapel took over 40 years to build and was incomplete when Sir William St Clair, the founder, died in 1484. The beauty of its setting and the mysterious symbolism of its ornate stonework have inspired, attracted, and intrigued artists, writers most famously Dan Brown who wrote the Da Vinci Code, the mind can only wonder at what lies beneath the chapel. Rosslyn Chapel is also one of the most famous religious sites in Scotland. It is home to many mysteries one being that legend has it that underneath the chapel, buried behind a stone wall and set back from the detailed wall carvings, is a spartan stone crypt. Buried even deeper is said to be the treasure of the Knights Templar. Even then there is much more to the chapel, the chapel was the subject of a terrorist attack on 11 July 1914, when a bomb exploded inside the building, this was as part of the suffragette bombing and arson campaign of 1912. The Chapel underwent extensive conservation in 1995 thanks to The Rosslyn Chapel Trust restoring the Chapel to what we see today. It is incredibly beautiful to see and is a must on your tour.
    • We continue our tour to visit the Glenkinchie Distillery. The Rate brothers, who founded Glenkinchie in 1825 started making Whisky after a few years of unsettledness due to the times of that era, whisky began to be produced at the distillery. There is an extensive timeline of the distillery which you will discover when we’ll take one of their tours, it’s not to be missed! and you will have the opportunity to sample their whisky.
