Cozumel, a picturesque Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular destination for travelers seeking sun, sand, and adventure. Taxis with wheelchair ramps are available, and many rental car agencies offer accessible vehicles. I use a regular van taxi anytime I need one in Cozumel. Same driver every time. And he has never been a minute late meeting me.
If I dock at the International Pier, or the Punta Maya pier, and want to go from one to the other, it is an easy roll, maybe 10 minutes or so. Between the two, I find Cozumel one of the easiest places to maneuver on a chair or scooter.
