Accessibility. What to expect?

  • Level of assistanceThe guides/staff members with experience assisting people with disabilities are available to offer support, however, it is not personalized one-on-one assistance 100% of the time.
  • TransportationA wheelchair-accessible vehicle with a hydraulic lift for airport shuttles and during the trip. The off-road vehicles used within the national park and the reserve offer participants the convenience of assisted transfers from their wheelchairs to the vehicle seat, with the support of trained staff, eliminating the need for independent transfers
  • PlacesAll the places during guided tours are accessible, but may have uneven terrain and require extra assistance
  • BathroomAccessible bathrooms are available in different locations during the guided tour and long the road on longer drives
  • EquipmentNot included, but can be offered for an extra charge
  • Mobility levelTravelers need to be reasonably independent in order to fully participate in the tour.
