After spending the night in your accessible room and having some breakfast at one of the many tasty venues on-site, you will cross through Alaska’s Inside Passage: A protected web of waterways that boasts glacier fjords and rain forests such as Misty Fjords National Monument and the Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve.

Sightseeing will not end with breathtaking natural landscapes; you will also be able to spot several ports and constructions that speak a little of Alaskan history. In Sitka, a domed church remarks on the Russian footprint in the Americas. Skagway, an iconic 19th town, still preserves its architecture and small-town charm. On day 3, you will head to Juneau, Alaska’s state capital. After arriving at 1:00 PM, you will have time to explore on your own until the ship’s departure at 10:00 PM. We always recommend boarding the cruise earlier than the scheduled departure time.

At Juneau, you will find a town surrounded by water, forests, and mountains. Being the most remote US state capital, the city holds its particular charm and maintains a more uncomplicated way of life.

Here, you will find a variety of adapted activities with ensured wheelchair-accessible transportation. One of them is the gold panning and underground mine exploration, an activity in which you will go underground at what once was the biggest gold mine in the world. You can visit the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, which has accessible restrooms at its visitor’s center, different exhibitions, and hiking trails. Park rangers also offer free walking or wheeling tours of the historic district.

Skagway is a great place to shop at small businesses and dine at quaint restaurants that serve freshly caught fish. With many activities to choose from, a must is visiting the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, an International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
