Cunard Line has begun charging for certain live performances aboard its newest ship, Queen Anne, which debuted in 2024. The new fees apply to three shows staged in the ship’s Bright Lights Society — an intimate, cabaret-style venue distinct from the ship’s main Royal Court Theatre.

The change took effect in late May 2025, several months after Queen Anne’s maiden voyage, when the performances were initially free of charge. The tiered pricing is as follows:
- Fizz and Noir — $20 per person, including a glass of champagne, a souvenir program, and service charge.
- Bitter Sweet Symphony — $46 per person, including three cocktails and service charge.

Reservations can be made through the Cunard My Voyage app or onboard. A cancellation policy has also been introduced, with no-show or late-cancellation fees of $5 for Fizz and Noir, and $15 for Bitter Sweet Symphony.
Reaction from passengers online has been mixed, though Cunard is not alone in adopting à la carte pricing for certain entertainment options. Many cruise lines now offer premium experiences at an extra cost while keeping their large-scale production shows complimentary.

Cunard confirmed that main stage productions in the Royal Court Theatre — including Queen Anne’s signature musical revues — remain included in the standard cruise fare.
