NIKE, Inc., with support from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, is launching a new initiative to expand and develop the talent pipeline of individuals who pursue careers in sports by promoting a new initiative to provide meaningful work experience for all athletes*, including those with disabilities.

The initiative, GameOn, is designed to increase awareness and underscore the importance of disability inclusion while also broadening the funnel for applicants who seek to develop their careers with Nike.

Nike and the USOPC announced the initiative today against the backdrop of the Paralympic Games, where more than 4,000 world-class athletes are competing and inspiring fans everywhere in celebration of sport. Paralympic athletes are welcome to submit their applications for GameOn program consideration.

“At Nike, we believe in the power of sport to move the world forward,” says James Loduca, V.P. and Chief Diversity Officer, NIKE, Inc. “Worldwide, our mission is to level the playing field and expand access to sport for everyone. By working with the USOPC to promote GameOn, we can continue to reach diverse, creative talent for employment who can contribute and grow their careers through sport.”

Beginning September 12, individuals interested in the one-year program may submit applications through jobs.nike.com/disability-inclusion. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Those selected to join the program will receive offers by the end of November.

The first GameOn cohort will start February 4, 2025, and will be based at Nike’s World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. For one year, participants will engage in a range of educational and professional development to support their career goals. From inclusive design to global marketplace exposure, the talented individuals will have a chance to gain relevant and dynamic work experiences while being embedded at Nike’s world-renowned campus.

“We have a longstanding partnership with NIKE, Inc. and are excited to collaborate on this meaningful initiative,” says Rocky Harris, Chief of Sport and Athlete Services for the USOPC. “Both Nike and the USOPC are athlete-centered organizations dedicated to serving athletes on their journey towards greatness. We’ve seen great success in our internal programs, and we are thrilled to see partners embrace the opportunity to support athletes in their post-sport transition. GameOn is a significant step in enabling that support.”

Those selected for hire through the program will be entitled to employment benefits provided by Nike. In addition, Nike will provide relocation assistance for those in need. More details about the program can be found at jobs.nike.com/benefits.
