Drive through the lush countryside and rolling hills making stops in some of the famous ancient villages where your guide will lead short walks and explain the history and architecture of the surroundings, and there might be time to visit the grave of Winston Churchill.
Westminster Abbey Interior Tour
On this tour, you will learn that the Abbey was founded by Benedictine monks in 960 AD, and it has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the final resting place of 17 monarchs. The church we see today was begun by Henry III in 1245. It is one of the most Gothic buildings in the country and has been the medieval shrine of an Anglo-Saxon at its heart.

Accessible St. Paul’s Cathedral Interior Tour
The Cathedral is one of the most famous and most recognizable sights of London. Its dome, framed by the spires of Wren’s City Churches, has dominated the skyline for over 300 years. At 365 feet high, it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1963. The dome remains among the highest in the world.
Accessible Tour of Hampton Court
Visit the palace that was built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, the chief minister of King Henry VIII in 1514. When Wolsey fell out of favor with the King, he gave the palace to the king to check his disgrace. The Palace became one of Henry’s most favored residences. He enlarged the palace so it could accommodate his sizable retinue of courtiers. Work was still underway when Henry’s Second Wife Anne Boleyn was beheaded. Henry’s much desired male heir, the future King Edward VI, was born here, and the child’s mother, Jane Seymour, died there two weeks later. In the early 1690’s King William III massive rebuilding and expansion work, which was intended to rival the Palace of Versailles, destroyed much of the Tudor Palace. This work ceased in 1694, leaving the palace in two distinct contrasting architectural styles, domestic Tudor and Baroque.
